A pic of Rusty Moore

There he is...

Rusty Moore is a finess expert who has become extremely popular over the past few years after starting a very popular fitness blog and releasing three fitness training products.

If you use the internet much then you may be aware of the fact that there is a lot of conflicting fitness information out there. Heck, sometimes in seems like the information on the internet is even worse than the stuff that you see in the fitness magazines at the supermarket! Everyday some new “fitness guru” is popping out of the woodwork with some new fitness plan — that is really just a rehashing of some old fitness plan that didn’t work that well to begin with!

Rusty however, is a pretty cool dude, and his fitness strategies are pretty darn “cutting edge” if you ask me… (and I’ve seen what else is out there)

What makes Rusty Moore’s line of “Visual Impact” products so special you ask? Well, other than the actual techniques that he teaches (which will be discussed in an upcoming post) what makes Rusty’s programs so different is that philosophy behind them.

Rusty is not a fitness “big-wig” or any type of guru. And he never intended to step into the spot light the way that he has the past couple of years. But when the public got wind of Rusty’s unique ideas about fitness they just couldn’t get enough of this guy!

Rusty was one of the first people to point out the fact that the fitness industry promotes a very strange concept of what it means to be in shap eand look good. If you have ever looked inside of one of those bodybuilding magazines you will see that most of the models look pretty darn freakish with their giant muscles and big pumped up veiny arms.

Certainly there are some men out there who think that it is “cool” to look this way, but how many women do you know who want ripped muscles and bulging six pack abs? … Answer: Not too many!

So after publishing a great deal of content around this topic on his blog, Rusty set out to create training programs to help both men and women to get in the kind of shape that normal people actually want to be in… He calls this “The Lean Hollywood Look”

He started with Visual Impact Muscle Building, a course to help guys to get lean and add muscle strategically without getting too big and puffy looking. Then, for the ladies he created Visual Impact for women (review coming soon) which became immensely popular. Rusty has also just released his third program Visual Impact Cardio.

One of the things that I like best about rusty is that he is a very soft spoken and polite guy, a real gentleman.

If you visit his website and watch his videos he has a very calm approach to teaching this stuff which is quite refreshing compared to alot of the other fitness gurus who seem sort of pushy and aggressive (roids’ perhaps)

Anyhow, that’s  it for this short bio, check back soon to read my upcoming reviews of rusty’s programs.
